STA JOURNAL
STA Journal | Journal of Art and Design Research is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic publication that approaches the fields of art and design within an interdisciplinary epistemological framework. STA Journal | Journal of Art and Design Research brings together original scholarly works produced in interdisciplinary research areas situated at the intersection of visual communication, graphic design, art theory, visual culture, media studies, architecture and urban studies, cinema and new media, cultural studies, digital humanities, and art–technology.
Published works are evaluated in accordance with contemporary research methodologies, interdisciplinary approaches, and current theoretical perspectives. Issued three times a year, STA Journal | Journal of Art and Design Research aims to bring high-quality scholarly production—examining the relationships of art and design with social, cultural, technological, and ideological contexts in a multilayered manner—into academic circulation within a permanent scientific archive at both national and international levels.
All manuscripts submitted to STA Journal | Journal of Art and Design Research undergo an editorial pre-evaluation and a double-blind peer review process. The evaluation is conducted in accordance with criteria of scientific methodology, academic ethics, originality, and scholarly quality. Upon completion of the publication process, accepted works are published in compliance with international academic writing standards and are digitally archived with consideration for long-term access and citation continuity.
